Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated annually from September 15th to October 15th. This year revolves around the theme, Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future. Chosen by the National Council of Hispanic Employment Program Managers (NCHEPM), this theme "encapsulates the spirit of innovation, resilience, and unity that define the Hispanic experience."

Today the Hispanic population of the US is 65.2 million, that's 19.5% of the total population (Census, 2023). Hispanic Heritage Month provides additional time to celebrate Hispanic and Latino communities and recognize the many contributions made to history and culture of the US.
